Its been so long since I’ve been back to Antigua that I didn’t know what to expect for carnival. Having been listening to the radio, on opening day I recognized some of the popular calypso singers entertaining the crowd from one of the trucks that served as a parade float. The truck carryed a big sound system that had no trouble moving the crowd while the calypsonians sang live to their prerecorded music. The singers sounded great and kept the crowd entertained.
I LEFT ANTIGUA IN 1991 I HAVE NOT BEEN BACK YET PLANNING A TRIP IN DECEMBER . I GREW UP THERE ALL MY FAMILY STILL LIVE IN SEA VIEW FARM (MY NAME IS ANN MARIE) .
