Planning the Trip Around the World

When planning my itinerary I didn’t have any set agenda so I simply mapped out a set of destinations connected by direct flights until I completely circled the globe.

While thinking about my plans for after I return from Antigua, I asked myself “why not travel around the world?”. I’ve always wanted to show my kids the amazing variety of cultures and geographies that the world has to offer. Not just to show them in the textbook sense of imparting knowledge, but to show them in the real see and touch way that only comes from traveling there.

Quattro books had a selection of novellas for sale. Business was brisk.

I love to hear confident readings from a writer who has a love of engaging with his or her audience. Part of that confidence comes from the vibe of the room. The large crowd was filled with enthusiastic followers of each writer so the ingredients were there for great readings. I wasn’t disappointed.

Traveling around the world to exotic destinations and paying for it by travel blogging is a fabulous proposition … if you can avoid the pitfalls. And some of those pitfalls are downright inevitable.
